Private hospitals and government-run hospitals provide quick and efficient service to tourists, using world-class technological equipment. Well-trained doctors and nurses staff the hospitals and clinics, offering a five-star hotel level of service. In case of an emergency, an ambulance can be summoned from any private hospital. Also, many hotels/resorts around the country have a doctor on a 24hrs call. Please make sure, before you leave your home that you have proper medical travel insurance. Even though medical prices around the country are lower than at home, in the unlikely event of a medical emergency a hospital/doctor bill can exceed your holiday budget.
